Republiq is a young dynamic company with high ambition. Our mission is to make all public real estate smart. We believe that a new era within the real estate industry has occurred. We think that by using available new data sources we can be game-changers in the sector. We believe that by making the public real estate smarter, both financial and social goals are met. In this way real estate contributes to a better, healthier and social environment for everyone.
You can see our ambition being translated into our projects. We advise some of the largest municipalities in the Netherlands and housing corporations. One example is our work for the municipality of Amsterdam. To help them with their new ground lease system, we made calculations, tools and used our smartest data to crack this puzzle and help the municipality. For many of our projects, we developed different kinds of dashboards. One example is the development of a dashboard for all the real estate of the municipality of Rotterdam. By using different data (both from the municipality and external open sources) we were able to make an interactive dashboard. This allowed the government to compare their real estate with the set governmental goals. In this way, the municipality could see if and how their real estate was contributing to a better and more livable city. We advised over 100 of other municipalities and housing corporations to help them get insights on their real estate portfolio in a more easy, fun and quicker way. Republiq is a front-runner when it comes to using big data. We believe that the (real time availability) of data has started a new phase in the real estate sector. We now can make evidence-based decisions. Our tools and dashboards give more insights and contribute in making better decisions.

So, if you would like to work as an consultant and make a difference in the real estate sector, and also fancy working within one of the “Best Workplaces” of the Netherlands, come by at our stand or take a look at our website for more information. More than just Ajax
Where does the Data lead us next?
That’s a question our data scientists and business intelligence analysts try to answer daily. There is no ultimate answer because data can point us in many directions at once, depending on the subset or business domain we zoom in on. So it’s up to us (and the business!) to decide which data should be followed, e.g. because they add most customer-value. Does that sound exciting? If you enroll in the Discover traineeship, you’ll not only help us deliver on (big) data’s (big) promises, but will also discover what makes you tick, both as a person and as a data-minded high-potential.
Your traineeship: the fast track to a challenging career
Lots of impact, growth opportunities and lots of fun. That’s what the Discover traineeship is all about. As a Discover trainee, you’ll complete three different projects during your-traineeship.
In a one and a half year program, you’ll discover who you are, what you’re capable of, where you want to be, and how you can get there with us. You’ll set your own course. This is what makes your traineeship unique.
GOAL 3 at the DEX Talk Show
Bart Bierling will take a seat at the talk show table on behalf of GOAL 3.
Bart studied Industrial Design at the Eindhoven University of Technology. From this third year of studies on, he has been doing research at the neonatal intensive care in Veldhoven. Here he tested a new sensor for monitoring breathing and movement, which showed to work well. This formed the basis for his bachelor thesis: developing a patient monitor for low-resource settings, using this new sensor.
From this bachelor thesis, start-up GOAL 3 was formed when multiple experienced clinicians in African countries addressed their willingness to help the start-up.
Healthcare for everyone
GOAL 3 develops durable and easy to use patient monitoring systems for environments with limited resources. Through predictive algorithms we enable health workers to detect acute illnesses when they can still be treated.
GOAL 3’s vision is: Fair and Accessible healthcare for everyone – We All Health The right to health is universal. We are all equal and every person should have access to healthcare irrespective of individual characteristics, race, religion, or geography. Therefore, it is unacceptable that millions of people die every year from conditions that can be treated easily. Fighting this injustice is what motivates us and what keeps us up at night.
Our mission is to empower and enable health workers worldwide through smart technologies that address their needs. This will strengthen health systems and improve access to care. To achieve this mission, we identify and develop data-driven health technologies from a perspective of collaboration and fair-data. These technologies are combined into an integrated and easy-to-use digital tool for health workers. This will enable health workers to provide better care and improve health for all.
Underlined enables companies to use data-driven insights to improve their customer experience. The in-house developed software platform for continuously automated customer insights is part of their customer experience management program at companies such as ABN AMRO Bank, Vattenfall and De Volksbank. Underlined is located in Den Bosch and consists of a team of young and enthusiastic data scientists and consultants.
Itility at the DEX Talk Show
Joost Meijer will take a seat at the talk show table on behalf of Itility.
Joost has been part of the Itility team since 2017. With a study background in Artificial Intelligence, various roles in a research environment, and later various management roles, he understands the technical details and the value that needs to be delivered.
He is passionate about shaping and delivering valuable solutions to complex problems in high-tech and innovative environments, using his extensive knowledge about industry 4.0, systems thinking, digital transformation, and advanced data & analytics.
At Itility we believe in merging technology and data to drive our customers one step beyond. Itility digital consultants are experts in data, cloud, software, and IT infrastructure. Our culture can be described as ‘no-nonsense, with passion’. Working at Itility is about working with people, staying close to our customers.
The possibilities of what you can do with data are rapidly changing the world. In addition to understanding the past, companies must know what is happening now and anticipate what is going to happen in the future. Data is driving digital transformation by unlocking value out of data.
Creating value from data is what drives our data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists. We love to ingest loads of streaming and batch data in data lakes to predict the future with random forests, neural networks, and optimization algorithms. And then present it to our customers in an accessible way, slicing and dicing data in advanced dashboards and easy-to-use mobile apps with Splunk, Dash, Shiny, or PowerBI.
Meet out data experts. Working in multidisciplinary teams on projects at our large international enterprise customers in high-tech, or at our midsized innovative customers in manufacturing, agritech, and mobility. Working on a variety of data use cases to translate data to insights, by extracting large quantities of data into our own Itility Data Factory or into a data lake built at the customer site, using different tools and techniques.
That is what data at Itility is about.
